Project Description:

SBA was retained by the Chippewas of Rama First Nation to complete the detailed structural investigation of four bridges at the Black River Wilderness Park campsite near Orillia, Ontario. The investigation and reporting included a detailed condition assessment and analysis for each structure, determination of the proposed repairs and rehabilitation needs for each structure and a determination of the safe bridge capacity and load postings. The goal of this project was to ensure an acceptable standard for each structure in terms of public safety, and convenience. Following the assessment, SBA proposed the replacement of deficient structural elements to protect and prolong the useful life of any non-deficient structures.
